What do I do if my learner has an existing account?

Sometimes a learner might have made their own account or have one from a previous employer. You can still use this as usual.


  1. Go to "Manage Learners"
  2. Click on "Add Learner"
  3. Enter the Learner's information as it appears in the existing account. 
  4. You can then assign them training. Once they accept the training, their existing account will be connected to yours. 


If you're not sure what email they're using on their existing account, you can connect their account with yours using the Activation Code. To do this, follow the steps below:


  1. Go to "Manage Learners"
  2. Click on "Add Learner"
  3. Enter the Learner's first and last name, without a contact method. 
  4. Locate the Learner on the list and click on the Activation Code to copy this to your clipboard.


  5. With the code, the Learner can login to their existing account and access "My Courses" on their left-side menu.
  6. From there, they should see a button labelled "Use Activation Code".


  7. Once they've entered the code that you provided and submit, their existing account will merge with the Learner profile that you've created and they will appear on your Learner list.
